The Palirria Hotel is located in a very beautiful position between the villages of Kala Nera and Koropi. This area is known locally as "Belegrino", and is where these two very popular and beautiful villages meet. The name is comes from the Belegrino stream, which flows into the sea, and forms the natural boundary between the village of Kala Nera and Koropi.
This part of the Pelion peninsula, along the coast of the Pagasitic Gulf, is a very popular destination for visitors to Pelion. With easy access from the city of Volos, which is situated 18km away, Kala Nera is an extremely popular place for holidays in Pelion.

Koropi is smaller than Kala Nera, though is just as charming and beautiful. The green scenery and trees stretch all the way down to the beach, and the green and blue colours form a magical landscape where you cannot help but to relax and enjoy.

Located a short distance from Kala Nera is the famous mountainous village of Milies. During the summer months, you can take a ride on the famous Pelion Steam Train. This train journey is an excellent way in which to explore the natural and wild beauty of the mountains of Pelion. There are also many other interesting sites to see in Milies.
Heading eastwards, you can visit the famous towns of Argalasti in the south, and Tsagarada in the northeast. Pelion has so many unique and beautiful places that visitors here are often spoilt for choice as to where to visit and what to see.
